NYC Dog Walker/Runner Job Application:

Being a professional dog walker for Downtown Pets requires maturity, the ability to communicate and the ability to receive feedback. This job involves more skill sets than you might realize and it's not a suprise that a large percentage of our walkers go onto careers jobs after leaving Downtown Pets. Make no mistake this is a real job with the important responsbility of caring for a live animal and we don't take that responsibility lightly. But if you buy into our philosophies and earn our trust this could very well be the best job you've ever had!

Requirements:

* prospective walkers must be available Monday through Friday, at the same time frames every day
* you are an animal lover
* walkers must be available for a minimum of 9 months
* you need to be interested in dog training or willing to learn because we walk dogs professionally
* you must have a cell phone that can receive emails
* recently new and good walking sneakers (we recommend New Balance)
* you need to be consistent on your schedule (can't have frequent days off, tryouts during the day, etc.)

* You can make between $400-$600 a week in this job after taxes.
