Cruelty Free cleaning products and a monkey being massaged!

mrs-meyers-cleaning-products

Mrs. Meyers Household Cleaners (view website) use natural ingredients, are biodegradable, chemical free, allergen minded, cruelty free and they also happen to be great products. I'm always happy when I see a company making environmentally conscious products who also gets the marketing side of the business and have great logo's, websites, etc. which they do. I personally use Mrs. Meyers' products and I've been very happy with them and love their scents.

Jason - animal friendly and organic beauty products

"Ask the experimenters why they experiment on animals and the answer is:
Because the animals are like us. Ask the experimenters why it is morally okay to experiment on animals, and the answer is: Because the animals are not like us."

- Professor Charles R. Magel (regarding cruel lab tests on animals)

I'm sure you wouldn't want a monkey to endure excruciating lab tests and eventual death to give you a better lip balm, right? Well, assuming so here's another great company that doesn't test its products on animals and uses organic ingredients too! They are called Jason and I have personally tried their shampoos, lotions and sunscreen and have loved them all. And oh yeah, no difference in these products from those produced by companies conducting cruel lab tests. Please click the following link to learn more about Jason health care products.

animal friendly products - tom's of maine

tom's-of-maine-logo

I got worried when I heard Colgate had purchased the socially responsible Tom's of Maine for $100 million but it appears they will maintain their core values. None of the workers will be fired and cofounder Tom Chappell will continue to run the company. What I want to hear though is that they will continue "not" to test their products on animals. Please click the following link to purchase Tom's of Main products online.

animal friendly products - leather free shoes

leather-animal-friendly-shoes

animal friendly product: leather free shoes

animal welfare issue: industrial farming

comments: It's not always easy to connect the dots between the products you use and how it effects animal welfare. Why is there a need for leather free products? A staggering number of animals are skinned alive for their hides.
