So many helped in saving Molly the cat. Construction workers would routinely stop by and offer physical labor, their expertise, and materials. If we needed something cut down to size they, supers in the neighborhood and even guys at a garage helped us cut equipment down to size. Pete and his guys with the NYC Emergency Unit were unbelievable in their cooperation, expertiese and pure passion in saving the cat. So many un-named persons became familiar at the site. Some would give you support and say hello while others were there to physically help you save the cat. One day a woman gave us three bags filled with sandwiches and salads she had bought for us. There were also the crazy cat ladies! And while they meant well, they did drain our energy.
